Ieri notte si è svolta la 35esima edizione degli MTV Video Music Awards, per la 12esima volta presso il Radio City Music Hall di New York City. 
Cardi B, con 12 candidature, aveva dominato nelle nomination e a pari merito con Childish Gambino, è l’artista ad aver vinto più premi, ben 3. Camila Cabello è invece la trionfatrice della serata vincendo nelle categorie più prestigiose come “Artist of the Year” e “Best Video”.
Ai VMA 2018 si sono esibiti: Shawn Mendes, Bazzi, Logic, Ryan Tedder, Panic! at the Disco, Jessie Reyez, Nicki Minaj, Hayley Kiyoko, Jennifer Lopez, Ja Rule, Dj Khaled, Ariana Grande, PrettyMuch, Travis Scott, James Blake, Juice Wrld, Maluma, Lauv, Post Malone, 21 Savage, Aerosmith.
